Scholarship Plus COVID-19 Response

Scholarship Plus has been in daily contact with scholars and alumni about ways our community can support their studies and families in this fluid and difficult time. Scholars' families are being hit first with the ripple effects of this virus—especially economically. Please read on for how we are helping, and how you can be a part of this community effort to make a daily impact on their lives. Thank you for making food stipends, safe housing, internet access, and online therapy possible.

We change lives by helping outstanding, low-income NYC students graduate from college — 100% of the time.

Our Impact

of our scholars graduate college — compared to the national average of low-income students: 16%.

of our scholars are first in their families to earn a college degree, changing the trajectories of their families for generations forward.

of our alumni have enrolled in or are in the process of applying to graduate programs — nearly double the national average of low-income students.

How We Do It

Because we know that financial aid alone is not enough to ensure safe passage through college — even for the brightest students — we provide:

+ Substantial 4-year Scholarship

+ College Readiness
