The Scholarship Plus scholarship is for New York City students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement as well as the ability to overcome financial and other significant obstacles in their lives.
Scholarship Plus offers such students a competitive four-year scholarship and individualized support. The scholarships may be used to pay tuition, room and board, fees and other educational expenses. Each scholarship will be renewable annually for up to four years of study as long as the student maintains a good academic record and makes normal progress toward a degree.
Scholarship Plus accepts applications from a number of New York City high schools and organizations. Applications must be received by February 5, 2016 at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. They will be reviewed by mid-March. Finalists will be notified, and then interviewed by a Scholarship Plus team during the last week in March. Winners will be selected by the first week in April.
